As I am getting done from reading most interesting parts of the book "The Google Story" by David A. Vise, I decided to review it.

I criticize him because he was very positive in all the book chapters, I did not notice even one single negative statement about Google and its founders (Larry Page and Sergey Bin). He looked into all kind of details. This is does not mean that I did like the book, I really enjoyed it.

He started from Larry and Sergey days while in Stanford University, to their Garage which is the first place Google employees worked in. Until having Googleplex in Mountain View. I agree with him in his admiration about those guys, they made the word change their search engine. That time, people was using Alexa, Yahoo and Teoma.

Larry Page come up with Page Rank concept. In which, they consider any hyperlink and the anchor text to any page z in the ranking algorithm of page z. Page Rank now available in Google Toolbar. I looked into the literature of page rank and I might blog one day about it.

In the last chapter "Googling your genes:, the author mention about Larry and Segey future plans to get into bio-informatics, genome and biology research to get better results.

One of the images in the book, shows larry and sergey in Google first location in a Garage in northern California, this is the photo.

I personally prefer Yahoo. Google search results are not that accurate and inspired by money.

Just try to search google for a web site with the wrong spelling,,,,

Okay, I see your point. However, Google is the most used Search engine in the world.
